The Bul-Bo by Axolight is not a standard lighting solution. Originally designed between 1968 and 1971 by Gabetti and Isola, it was brought back by Axolight fifty years later, preserving its original spirit while introducing modern lighting technology. Its inclusion in the permanent collection of Triennale Milano in 2023 underlines its importance within Italian design history.
The collection offers three main ways of use. The table version can be placed on a desk, bedside table, console or side table. The floor version is suitable for a living room, reading corner, reception area or professional interior where the lamp needs a stronger presence. The wall version works well beside a bed, along a corridor, in an office or in areas where light is needed without adding another piece of furniture.
Bul-Bo is suitable for spaces that need something more distinctive, but still easy to use. It has a clear form, a strong connection to an important period of Italian design and enough flexibility to work in homes, hotels, offices and carefully designed professional spaces
