Tolomeo Faretto — An icon, fixed to your wall
Few design objects have managed what the Tolomeo has: to remain just as relevant nearly four decades after its debut. Created in 1987 by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina,It became one of the most recognisable lamps in the world, precise, purposeful, and quietly beautiful. Faretto The Faretto brings that same spirit to your wall.
Light that moves with you.
The Tolomeo Faretto mounts directly onto the wall via a sleek bracket, but its head remains fully articulated; it tilts, swivels and rotates just like the beloved table lamp version. Want to light a painting? A reading chair? A specific corner of the room? You move it, and the light follows. No tools, no fuss.
That intuitive flexibility is what makes it at home in a private bedroom just as comfortably as in a boutique hotel suite or a design-led workspace.
Smart light, real performance
In its LED version, the Tolomeo Faretto delivers 6W or 8W of focused, high-quality light up to 761 lumens without overwhelming a space. The choice between 2700K (warm, amber-toned, ideal for evenings and relaxation) and 3000K (slightly crisper, great for reading or working) means you can dial in the right atmosphere for any time of day. 2700K for a warmer, more relaxing atmosphere 3000K for cleaner, more active light.
The dimmable version adds another layer of control, letting you shift from a bright reading light to a soft ambient glow with a single gesture. dimmable switch σου δίνει ακριβώς αυτό: το σωστό φως για κάθε στιγμή της ημέρας.
Design that doesn't follow trends it sets them
The slender aluminium arm, the tension-cable structure, the precise industrial silhouette, almost nothing about the Tolomeo has changed since its launch. Not because Artemide forgot to update it, but because there was nothing to fix. It was right from the beginning.
The Tolomeo Faretto isn't a tribute to a classic. It is the classic now on your wall.
