The “O” Floor by Artemide is a floor lamp with a circular form that works differently from a typical floor light. It does not rely on a shade, arm or decorative volume. Its strength is the luminous circle: a thin aluminium profile that defines the space through light.
It can be used outdoors in gardens, terraces, patios and roof gardens, but also indoors in lobbies, living rooms, display areas or professional interiors. When switched off, it behaves like a quiet object that frames its surroundings. When switched on, it creates soft light without strong visual discomfort.
The 45, 90 and 150 cm diameters offer different possibilities. O 45 is more flexible for smaller areas, corners and passageways. O 90 has a balanced scale for terraces, living areas and lounges. O 150 works better in large outdoor spaces, hospitality projects or places where the lamp needs a stronger presence.
The 3000K colour temperature gives clear but pleasant light, suitable for spaces where visibility is needed without a harsh effect. The light output changes according to the size, from 875lm in the 45 version to 3126lm in the 150 version.
“O” Floor is a good choice when lighting needs to become part of the architectural image, not simply an object added at the end. It can stand alone or be used in multiple pieces, creating luminous points with clean geometry and a calm feeling.
