The Tom Dixon Melt Chandelier is a ceiling light that brings intensity, reflection and a sense of movement into the interior, without following the traditional image of a chandelier. Its composition of four small Melt shades creates a more compact result than the large version of the range, while still being strong enough to act as a central feature in the space.
The smoke-polished polycarbonate surface is what gives the fixture its changing character. When illuminated, the shades gain depth and a warm glow, recalling molten or blown glass. When switched off, the surface becomes mirror-like, reflecting the colours, materials and movement around it.
The Melt chandelier range is available in three sizes: mini, small and large — so it can be used in smaller interiors as well as in larger, more dramatic installations. The small size is suitable for dining areas, living rooms, entrances, stairwells, bedrooms with ceiling height, hotel suites and reception spaces where a light with strong identity is needed, but without excessive scale. It is a strong choice for those looking for light, materiality and contemporary sculptural presence in a more controlled size.
