A design that softens the interior
The most recognisable element of Castore Tavolo is its spherical diffuser in blown glass. The sphere becomes a luminous volume, offering soft and diffused light that is ideal for relaxation, reading, evening ambience or everyday use.
Artemide also highlights the importance of the stem. The removable-fitting and tapering luminous stem creates a gentle transition from the strong diffuser light to the blind lamp structure. This detail gives the lamp a more natural and continuous appearance, making the object feel balanced and carefully resolved.
The base is made of zamac, zamacthe stem of thermoplastic resin and the diffuser of blown glass. This combination gives Castore Tavolo a clear material identity, balancing stability, technical precision and the soft visual quality of diffused light.

Depending on the selected version, it is available in 5W, 12W or 21W, and delivered lumen 402lm, 1227lm or 2077lm.This allows the product to respond to different lighting needs, from low atmospheric light to a stronger luminous presence in larger interiors.
