The Droplet Mini by Artemide is the smaller and more flexible version of the Droplet family. It keeps the same sculptural idea, but brings it into a scale that can be used more easily in homes, hotel rooms, corridors, entrances and professional spaces with more limited dimensions.
Its form does not follow the image of a typical wall or ceiling light. The die-cast aluminium surface feels as if it has captured the movement of a liquid material, while the lighting units create reflections and small highlights across the metal. In this way, the lamp not only provides light; it also changes the way the surface is perceived.
Compared with the larger Droplet, Droplet Mini is easier to integrate into everyday interiors. It can be placed in a corridor that needs more interesting lighting, in a home entrance, living room, bedroom, boutique hotel, reception area or professional interior where a light with a clear character is needed without too much volume.
The 2700K version with 1168lm gives a warmer and calmer feeling, suitable for homes, bedrooms, living rooms and hospitality spaces where the light should feel softer. The 3000K version with 1249lm offers a slightly clearer result and can work better in entrances, corridors, professional spaces or areas where more visual clarity is required.
Droplet Mini is a good choice when a wall or ceiling light should not feel ordinary, but the space does not need a large statement piece. It has enough visual strength to give identity to the point where it is installed, while remaining more practical in size and easier to combine with the rest of the lighting plan.
It suits projects where the detail of the ceiling or wall matters. It can work alone in a smaller area or be repeated in a larger composition, bringing light, reflection and a more architectural feeling to the surface.
